HADLEY DISCUSSION BOARD PURPOSE

This is a moderated forum. Its purpose is to facilitate the sharing of information among Hadley students, family members, professionals, staff, visitors to our Web site and other people who are interested in the fields of blindness and/or distance education.

DISCUSSION BOARD RULES

By registering for participation in the Hadley DB, it is understood that you have read and agree with all DB rules and policies. Registration is free. You are required to abide by the rules and policies.

• As a user of this DB, you agree not to use this service to document, plan, conceal or distribute any information or material that is illegal.
• As a user of this DB, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the system operator from any claims of damage.
• As a user of this DB, you agree not to post messages that are obscene, sexually oriented or threatening.
• All users under the age of 14 must seek permission from their parent or legal guardian in order to gain membership to the DB.
• Hadley reserves the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread, with or without notice.
• All messages express the views of the author; Hadley takes no responsibility for the content of any message. You are legally responsible for any content that you post.
• Please stay on the topic when initiating a thread or posting a reply. Postings that are off topic may be removed.
• Unauthorized reproduction of copyrighted material is not permitted.
• Commercial solicitations and advertisements are not permitted.
• Home phone numbers may not be listed in public areas. Hadley will not be responsible for any problems that result from this practice.
• Please do not attempt to invalidate the beliefs of others. Do not post messages condemning other beliefs, cultures or religions. Do not discriminate against gender or race.
• Impersonating a Hadley employee is forbidden.
• A participant’s access to the DB can be terminated with or without prior notice, if that participant does not follow these rules.
